Currently based in Toronto, Ontario, she has delighted audiences all the way from Seattle, Washington to Istanbul, Turkey. As a teacher, she has educated students from coast to coast. During her formative years as a dancer, Hannan undertook intensive training with Aziza of Portland, Oregon. Her movement training includes belly dance, ballet, and yoga. Sahara Sisters Belly Dance Club was officially formed in September 2004 from all levels of experience in the dance. We now meet weekly in Chippenham Wiltshire as a group of enthusiasts who love to get together to dance in the middle eastern traditions.

"We have a very enthusiastic following of belly dance in Wiltshire, which seems to be growing steadily! Chippenham is a smallish town, but we have had to move venues twice in just over two years to find a hall big enough to fit everyone in. As we are in a rural area, we have Sahara Sister members who travel up to 40 miles round trip for class! There are a few groups within 20 miles of us, and I think, most are doing well. It seems to be a growing thing! Most dancers around here seem happy to travel, as that's the only way we can meet up with like minded enthusiasts. Having studied with the best Egyptian and Lebanese dance masters, Jasmin Jahal's goal as an instructor of oriental dance is to educate the Western mind to see that authentic Egyptian dance is tasteful, exciting, sensual and artistic. Jasmin instructs local, national and international dance workshops, and teaches weekly bellydance classes throughout the Chicago area and suburbs. She is the founder and artistic director of the Jasmin Jahal School of Dance.

Born in Honduras, of Mayan and Hispanic descent, Mirayah Delamar was facinated by dance from an early age.  At Georgia State University, she studied ballet and modern dance.  At Naropa University, she practiced martial arts (tai chi, a'kido) and improvisational dance rooted in awareness of sacred space and mindfulness of the present moment.  She also studied psychology and other insightful disciplines, earning a BA in Buddhism and Western psychology.
